Sandra Strüwing founded candid communications in 2003 after having gained eight years of work and management experience. Before she took the plunge into being self-employed, she has been working for an international enterprise and a medium-sized company in the high-tech industry. From 1998 to 2003 she headed the corporate communications and investor relations department at GFT Technologies AG. On the path to IPO, Sandra built up financial communications, media relations and internal communications for the IT Services company. In addition to her role as company spokesperson, she was also responsible for marketing. A Master of Arts in communications, Sandra learned the tools of the trade at the semiconductor manufacturer Texas Instruments. At TI’s European headquarters in Freising she gained three years worth of experience in internal and external corporate communications. If she doesn’t sit in front of her laptop or comes up with new ideas for a client, Sandra – a passionate networker – loves to go out, meet people and connect them. Sandra achieves work life balance with literature, jazz and film, photography, and travelling as well as at a delicious dinner and stimulating conversations with friends.
