Mareike Kleemann has been supporting our team since October 2008. After a formal training in wholesale and export trades Mareike gained first PR experience at various subsidiaries of the Volkswagen Corporation. She worked as a PR assistant at both Autostadt and VfL Wolfsburg, a club that’s part of the German Soccer League. In order to complement her practical PR skills with well-grounded theory she also completed a formal training as PR consultant. Switching to the world of agency PR, she is now bringing the experience from the corporate side to the clients of candid communications. On the phone or in person, Mareike’s friendly nature welcomes clients and journalists to our agency and makes them feel at ease. Mareike is also very detail-oriented and never forgets the big picture. That way she can optimize our processes and rids the team of organizational tasks. When Mareike, who is from the northern part of Germany, isn’t working, she’s busy getting to know her new home Bavaria. She also makes sure she cultivates her friendships, loves to make new vacation plans or does sports in order get rid of any leftover excess energy.
