Carolin Börschig is currently studying at the DHBW Ravensburg and has been a part of the candid team since October 2011. As part of her dual studies program “media and communications management”, she gets practical, hands-on training several months at a time in addition to the theoretical groundwork laid by the university. Wanting to become a journalist at a young age already, Carolin has always enjoyed researching, presenting ideas and writing. During her school years, she authored articles for the local newspaper as well as her school’s magazine. At that time, she also was introduced to the PR and advertising industry while working on a related project. Choosing a course of studies with focus on these topics was the next logical step. The student considers the practical experience she will get during her three years of study a major advantage: after getting her degree, the transition from student to young professional will be a much smoother one. The concept of the dual studies program is very demanding and requires a high amount of discipline and ambition. To compensate, Carolin enjoys spending time with friends, travel around the world and visiting the gym, where she works out several times a week.
