Interim management and external press office

When the executive board changed in 2005, Kreissparkasse Augsburg also had to fill the press officer position. The company entrusted Sandra, an external consultant, with the business political press office. At the beginning it was a provisional position but soon enough Sandra was integrated into day-to-day operations and established herself as the go-to person across all stakeholders such as internal departments, media representatives and the new management. The Kreissparkasse and the candid office are both situated in downtown Augsburg and are only a few minutes apart which guarantee flexibility and quick reaction time.

Press office responsibilities include:

• Strategic communication consultancy
• Responding to press inquiries
• Writing and distribution of press releases
• Organization of annual results press conference and press interviews
• Writing and placement of contributed articles for the regional media, trade press and organizational publications within the Sparkasse group
• Speech writing for executive board members
• Editorial office for the staff magazine
• Annual report creation
• Writing support for flyers, brochures, mailings, noble correspondence and internal communications media
